Viburnum cinnamomifolium

Origin: Western China. Evergreen large shrub or small tree, with large elliptical leaves, shiny dark green on top, paler underneath, with 3 deep veins. In May- June, white flowers in terminal clusters, followed by small, bluish-black fruits. Thrives in zones that are not dry and in reasonably humid, well-drained terrain, deep, fertile. Use: on its own, in groups, for mixed hedges.
